About Haley

Hi! My name is Haley Young. Thank you so much for viewing my child life portfolio. I am excited to share my journey towards certification with you. Working with children and helping them grow is one of my greatest passions in life. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Mississippi where I studied elementary education. Being in the academic setting as a teacher has helped me learn about the world through children's eyes. I have experience working as a special education teacher and helping kids who have mild/moderate disabilities. Through volunteering, I have been able to work with many crisis response lines and help individuals who are struggling and in need of support. Caring for people who are hurting is something that I am very passionate about. Thank you again for viewing my portfolio!
